Kay and Talee have fun.

It was very warm day. We took out our patio chairs form the shelter and Matt was taking care of the composter, which was frozen during the winter. Of course,  Kay and Talee were there. Somehow, they are hyper whenever Matt and I are doing something. Often they are running the whole back yard, climbing trees, and playing (0r fighting) together like in this video. When they were younger, Kay was the winner in their play. I used to cheer up Talee.. But!!!!! Talee is bigger and stronger now. In addition, Talee is smarter than Kay. Poor~~Kay..

One of the favorite toys of Kay and Talee is the ring from the milk jar. They spend lots of time to hit that thing between the legs of the kitchen table and chairs. Passing it here and there until it slides into under the refrigerator where they can’t get at it. I wonder how many rings are piled up there.

Recently, Talee is playing with paper bags. If she find one in the floor, she run into the back and scratch the bottom, and eventually makes a hole there. Often, she pushes it until she bangs a wall.. It’s so funny.

Kay & Talee

They were so cute when we got them. Kay was spayed just before we got her so that at that day, she was a kind of shy, quiet and sweet cat. We played with her a lot.  Now she becomes a real cat. She is demanding, noisy and bossy.

Talee came to our house. We chose her since she was tinier than Kay. I thought that Kay would be better with a smaller one. Now? We found out that she is a Maine coon, which is known by big size and mild temperament.

How they have changed since kittens!!!  But we still love them, especially when they make their tails stick straight up whenever they recognize our voices.

San Francisco

After visiting Korea, Matt and I went to SanFranciso for Math joint meeting. It was the fist time there and we really enjoyed it. First of all, the hotel was great, which was a suite room on the top of a grand old hotel. We had a access to the club so that we could enjoyed little bit of snack and drinks there. Being a club member makes me feel special a little.. 🙂  We went to Fisherman’s wharf for lunch. Big Fish~~. Matt liked them a lot, but to me, of course, Korean style of cooking would be better. If my morning  sickness was over at that time, I might enjoy more. And one night, we took the cable car. Matt showed lots of interest how they work. I just remembered it cost a lot to maintain them. Most of the time, we were in the conference to listen to Math talks and we happened to meet unexpected old friends from Wisconsin. It was a good travel overall.
