We visited the Zoo today and John loved watching the pandas (giant and red), tigers, lions, and apes.

Here are some photos from our Thanksgiving weekend with family.  John loved to run around outside.  Julia is starting to hold her head up when on her tummy.

On a beautiful Saturday, we drove to Mt. Vernon for the afternoon.  John loved the farm animals, especially the sheep.  At times he was like a little “herder”, constantly moving back and forth to different parts of the pen, watching and petting the sheep.  We toured George Washington’s house, and John had a hard time staying still, although he did like counting the stairs inside.

Here are some pictures from Halloween – John was a monkey and Julia wore a pumpkin hat.  John enjoyed playing outside last evening while we gave out candy to the trick-or-treaters.
